By accessing or using Wages Atlas (this "site"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of them, please stop using the site. These terms apply to every page, tool and dataset view the site offers, and they apply equally whether you arrive directly, through a search engine or through a link from another site.

Purpose of the Website

Wages Atlas presents wage and price-level data for OECD economies in a readable, comparable form. Its purpose is to help a general audience explore and compare publicly reported economic statistics — not to provide financial, legal, tax or migration guidance of any kind. The site exists because raw statistical tables are hard to read, not because it has a view on where anyone should live or work.

Informational Use Only

All content on this site, including wages, price indices, charts and summaries, is published for general information. Figures describe reported statistical data at the observation years shown. Nothing on this site is a recommendation, forecast or promise about any economy, employer, salary or cost of living. Summaries and narrative text explain what the reported numbers say; they do not predict what any number will be next year.

Data Sources and Accuracy

Wage and price figures come from named third-party statistical sources, listed in the Data Guide. While we review data before publishing and label every observation year, we do not guarantee that values are always complete, current or free of source revisions. Where the source revises data, displayed values may change in later reviews. The site's own review label tells you when the underlying data was last checked.

Permitted Use

You may freely browse the site, read and quote its published figures with attribution, and link to its pages. Personal, educational, journalistic and internal business research uses are welcome, provided the observation years and source labels the site attaches to its values are preserved in what you quote. Sharing links to country pages and comparisons is exactly what the site is built for.

Prohibited Use

You may not scrape the site at a rate that degrades service for others, resell or rebrand its content as your own product, present its figures with years or sources stripped out, or use the site in violation of applicable law. Automated access that respects normal traffic levels for reading public data is not prohibited by this section. Intellectual Property

The site's design, text, layout, code and non-source explanatory content are protected by copyright. Underlying statistical figures belong to their named providers and are used under their public terms. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property rights in the site or its data sources to you beyond the quotation rights described above. Third-Party Content and Links

The site links to third-party pages — for example official dataset pages on oecd.org — and may display third-party services such as advertising where enabled. We do not control the accuracy, availability or practices of third-party pages and services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies. The presence of an advertisement or a link does not mean we endorse the destination.

Availability and Website Changes

We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but we may add, change, suspend or remove any page, tool, dataset or feature at any time, and interruptions may occur for maintenance or causes beyond our control. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated form of the service. If a feature you relied on is removed, the Data Guide and release notes remain the record of what changed.
